• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role in software quality assurance.

• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.

• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Experience in using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.

• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to think from a user’s perspective.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in API testing and using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

• Knowledge of basic automation tools and scripting is a plus.

• Understanding of performance and security testing concepts.

Work Environment:

Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Execute test cases (manual) and document test results.

Identify, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure quality standards.

Perform regression testing to confirm bug fixes and new feature stability.

Validate functionality, performance, and user interface of the software.

Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports.

Ensure software compliance with business and technical requirements.

Participate in team meetings, providing feedback and insights on product quality.
